Match Attax cards have become a new craze in Europe, UK, and beyond. This is indeed a football card game which is based on ‘Barclays Premier League’.

Let us now consider the history of Match Attax:

These cards were founded by a company in the City of New York named “Topps”. This company dealt firstly with tobacco till they had a great depression. After this, they started to try on with another product like chewing gum. The Bazooka Bubblegum product became very successful, thereby in 1950; they tried increasing their sales by keeping ‘Hopalong Cassidy’ star’s card packets. From then on they began producing Baseball card packs which thereby led to the focusing on collector-card market only.

Baseball cards were released in two sets which were called as “Blue Backs and Red Backs”. Each set contains fifty-two cards. Then Topps Match cards entered sports market, they started creating “Garbage Pail Kids” and “Star Wars” sets.

So, this review is all about Match Attax which was produced firstly for 2007/08-premier league, which gained unbelievable success.

Therefore, let us now see what Match Attax (game) is all about?

The starter pack which is available these days come with a limited-edition card, twenty five cards, and a playing-pitch. So, after purchasing the starter card packs, the next thing is to follow the rules of this game.

Rules of Match Attax game is as follows:
This game is for two players just as a football-match, the objective of this play is to achieve more goals as compared to your opponent. Every player on cards is paced out of hundred in Attack and hundred in Defense. You require fourteen players for this game, that is your first eleven and your three substitutes.

Proceed to select your best eleven players and the time to start off with the game. Now line your team on pitch along with cards facing down and make sure your guards are in state of defense. Then flip one coin to view which person would start the game first. Now select one player of yours and select if you require defending or attacking, but do not turn your card over. Now other player selects one player from their team, now this player must perform the opposite, meaning he must select defend in case you have selected attack.

Then both these players now turn their respective cards over, now if the player who selected attack has a better rating than other defense players, then he/she scores one goal.

Now leave the cards aside. Player who wins this round comes first and he/she proceeds to select whether to defend or attack, then other player must again do the reverse. Proceed to turn your cards to check who scored what.

If you think you can perform better then you can get your substitutes into this game. Every player makes three substitutions in a game, but you cannot substitute your last player. It must be noted that you can perform better using your substitutes, prior to starting up of each round.
